Mid-October Link Roundup
It's mid october! You know what that means: LINKS
- Shot: Kiril Shevchenko has been expelled from a chess tournament in Spain after an alleged cheating incident involving a suspicious phone left in a toilet cubicle with a note on it that read "don't touch, this is here so the owner can answer it at night."
- An ongoing webcomic, What Happens Next, that I recently became aware of. It's about the aftermath of a murder and the (mostly queer) people in its orbit. That description doesn't really capture what's so great about it; it's just one of the sharpest depictions I've seen of Existing Online and what it does to people.
- My good friend Laura Michet has a fantastic post going over, in detail, something that's kind of an open secret among narrative workers in the games industry: Agile just doesn't work for us.
- If you were on Cohost, you probably remember Music Friday: Matthew R.F. Baloušek's project where he collects new songs from folks all over the internet and shares a weekly playlist. You might be aware that it's still ongoing, but now it has an RSS feed with weekly posts.
- Chaser: A screenshot of, at the time of writing, Kiril Shevchenko's most recent twitter reply (warning for mildly NSFW imagery).
Have a great weekend, everyone.
